Get to Know the Heroes This Spring in New Animated Series - Overwatch News

Blizzard is preparing to introduce players and fans to the unlikely heroes of Overwatch through an animated video series. A teaser trailer has been released that shows the series in development that will reveal the background lore behind each of the characters in Overwatch. The animated shorts are set to debut later this Spring.

    Should they really be called heroes in a game like this? Do heroes kill each other?

    Haha, so true!  But the Animated Series is great marketing.  I'm trying it with my games as well.  Hope my Nickelodeon meeting goes well.  Don't have one scheduled yet.

    On a relevant note, I love trailers like these! This is the industry I will be apart of very soon!

    if the money and time were there, I would have loved to see Blizzard take on animation as a side business...with their skill in CGI and storytelling it would have been amazing.

    Well... They used to be heroes in the traditional sense, then everything went pear shaped and now they are more like super-powered mercenaries. Som less heroic than other.
