I was looking through my old posts on the SWG forums since I was able to log in and found some funny stuff by the so called "Community Relations Manager" Kurt Stangel (aka Burt Dangle his male porno name).

I think this is the one about PVP decay. This guy is so worthless.

Even though my post is mashed up you have proven yourself to be paying for a service provider who basically treats you like a piece of garbage. If you want to be the anti-majority and stand out and continue to defend and to pay/support some company who has a Green light to release half working garbage be my guest. What are you going to do if SWG closes down? What cause will you champion?
I've seen people saying you're a stand up guy. I disagree. You have blatant facts put directly in your face, yet you continually try to contradict everything negative about SOE/SWG. All that proves to me is you're another Wepps, who's such a fanatic-lunatic he blindly disregards the truth, or you purposely troll these forums to stat controversy.
You are paying to beta test a game and do a test for future games, while the people you are paying get paid to break it, I can't see why you are so shortsightet to see that.
The DC mmo is twitch/fps based, why do you think they implemented the NGE? No conspiracy theories here read F13 or afew other places. I seriously just wish you and other people paying SOE money would just close your eyes for 5 seconds and drop the SW skin and see you're paying/playing for a piece of garbage.

Simply put, I think alot of it is anger, misdirected or not, at you FOR playing it. It's not how long you've played that really matters.
Another point, I read the SWG forums quite a bit and see many of these "attacks" on newer players.
I can tell you the reason 99% of the time that happens too. The new players see the Vets angry and decide that they must defend SWG and SOE/LA or at the minimum defend the game they've played for a month or 6. The vets will and do (me being guilty of it as well) jump on these people as being fanbois. Because unless you've been threw what the digruntled vets have been through (and feel betrayed like they do) with the craptastic company and ruined game. There is no way in hell you can justify the current game mechanics to us.
Now for players like Obriak (think I spelled that right). I have nothing against him and honestly, neither should anyone else. He plays SWG and likes it. He has no problem giving SOE/LA his money for a shitty product and he may even have half a brain (He seems to complete sentences so I think it's possible he does have a whole brain, only scientific experimentation could tell) but He plays and enjoys it. So more power to him I suppose. I personally think anyone giving SOE money is actually totally brain dead.

I have no problem with people hating sony, infact im sure id be the same if they ruined a game i loved. I played socom 1 and 2 for about 3 years and loved them then Zipper made (Socom "Ghost recon 2" 3) and tossed everything that was good about the game there. It went from fast action to sitting in a bush for 6 minutes a round waiting on an enemy to walk past! i just hope there next game they go back to there roots.
Ive played MxO for a year now and so far all SOE have done is put a few new things in and fix all of monoliths bugs, so they havent really had an impact yet , even the combat revamp is monoliths. But if sony manage to mess up this game even MORE! ill be shocked and will probably hate them too. All they need to do is add end game content to it and itll be great but from what everyone says about sony im not holding out much hope!
Bottom line is i fully understand all the agro you guys have for them but it shouldnt shape your opinions on me as a game and as a person.

Yup it is 2 years ago. I wanted to bring to the attention to anyone who reads anything by Kurt Stangl/SOE to see what they are dealing with. You and afew others obviously don't have a problem with it but I hope people wishing to purchase a quality product and get what they expect to buy are satisfied. I would sincerely hope noone makes a negative comment here and be considered a racist. God forbid anyone bring reality into the grand utopia that is SWG and is catching up to WOW numbers where everyone is happy.

Was is a rascist remark? Certain sayings, words have different connatations. I took it in a sci fi sense, half human-half whatever. And thinking on it, always assumed it was a cross species reference as opposed to race. (I'm English, so if used at all it's an extremely uncommon racial slur here) Checked the dictionary, and it would be deemed officially offensive. So while i'm...well actually thrilled that this community is so anti-rascist, can we think the best of the poster and move on? Unless he/she states that was his/her intent, there is no point in pursuing this line of debate.
And next time, maybe halfwit would be a better choice of phrase.
