    Sooo tempted to pick up the BG EE for $5 on Steam....

    Just bought it. Nice improvements.

    Tip: First run, no UI or mouse cursor. Restarted and everything was fine. If you don't see the UI, press 'H'.

    I've heard the BG EE has all the same issues as the original. I'd like to try the expansion but to go through all of BG again...I dunno lol

    You can start from the xpac, you can create a new leveled up char.

    I can see them offering a lot of cool modules/dlc/expacs if this sells well. Here's to hoping.
    BG to BG2 had a gap about what happened to the PC to end up where they are at the start of BG2. Siege of Dragonspear explain what happened in that gap.

    BG2 storyline is complete with Throne of Bhaal and the Ascension mod.

    I got BG:EE for $5 yesterday because it is required for the Siege of Dragonspear expansion. The Black Pits module in BG:EE was fun. It will be at -75% discount until April 4.

    After this I'll probably get excited to play the Baldur's Gate MMORPG once again.

    I bought the base game on steam. So far I have just managed to reroll until I got 95 total for stats. NOW I can start playing :)

    Note to anyone who is thinking of picking up the expansion.  Avoid it like the plague!  It is so bug ridden as to be almost unplayable at some points.  Do these idiots ever test anything before they release it?

    I picked up BG:EE on the $5 sale: I am amazed at 1) How simple the graphics are. Boy have we come a long way graphically since BG was released. When I first played these games the graphics seemed great, haha. 2) How good the gameplay and AI is. The way the maps and gameplay are structured and the party and enemy AI still seem superior or on par with many games I have played recently.
