The Imperium has finally done it. Through systematic aggression and alienation against the entirety of the EVE community, The MIttani, Goonswarm, and greater Imperium allies have somehow managed to find themselves in an all versus one war that will, god willing, dwarf any conflict that has happened in EVE Online to date.

    Dang it! I just cancelled my account this month. I'll keep an eye on this and if things escalate I might have to jump back in to get some shots at the bees.

    I'm pretty sure that the final straw was the Goons announcing their Viceroy Program. The idea of forcing "tribute" from the peasants in order to continue living in nullsec involves heaps of hubris.

    The cynical part of me can't help but think that this is some elaborate PR scheme by CCP though. They've got to do something to counter the 2007ish concurrent login numbers.

    In regards to the picture... be careful Lord Maldoror doesn't emo-rage-disband whatever alliance he's with at the moment. Still have not forgotten nor forgiven the Foundat1on fiasco.

    Yeah, this isnt wow where 12 people get arranged to fight for 15minutes. This is a war that has united many alliances against 1 coalition. About 1000-3000 players have been fighting on both sides for a week now.

    I left Eve years ago when I realised contrary to CCP's advertising it's just a game based on PK, nothing else. Sad to see they haven't woken up to the fact that if they made it so PvE players did not have to be part of the PK culture then CCP would have a larger player base.

    It sounds so exciting that I'm tempted to re-sub!

    When I was playing, I much preferred BoB to GoonSwarm. BoB's recruitment system was more overt and honest. BoB's corporations were very chatty towards me and they gave me lots of opportunities to play with them.

    BoB didn't have a reputation for scamming, but GoonSwarm was well known for it. The wrong group won the BoB war.

    You've got to be really motivated in order to free up the spare time it takes. You need a fair amount of spare time in order to build up the necessary resources and relationships with other players (in order to get to the point where it gets exciting).

    Being cannon fodder can be pretty satisfying if you happen to lang tackle on a war target as a week old character.

    I really think Eve is a well done game. Sadly im not big on sci-fi though and could never get into it. I did love watching my rifter warp though xD

    Don't think there is an existing one. I hope one day Chroniciles of Elyria will reach that point. Company has great ideas but still early stages. Time will tell.
