It's my belief that soloing a game is something more and more people seem to take for granted. I understand the want to keep progressing at a fairly nice pace, but at what cost? Soloing allows you to develop your skills and fully understand whatever game you're playing. Back when I made my first wizard in 2013, I made a conscious effort to solo as much as I possibly could.

Balance was created only to BUFF and SHIELD. other people look down on us because we have all the buffs bacically. Most people dont even reilize that we can dispel. and when i mean most i mean MANY!
We balance always get looked down on because of group play. They never expect us to attack, only to buff and trap.

I like to solo everything if possible. I chose Storm for my school so I soon found out I did not possess the health to stay alive for long battles. I had to learn to hit hard and fast. I improved my accuracy as much as possible and my strength. I chose Life as my secondary school so I could heal myself and also bought the life amulet. I have a collection of equipment that I swap in and out depending on my enemies. Nothing better than that feeling I get after setting up the perfect attack with all my traps and blades and wiping out all opponents with one attack spell. I did sometimes play with my sister who was Life in some difficult dungeons. I thrashed them while she kept me healed up. We were quite the team. Balance gets my respect. One of the most difficult schools to fight for me. Probably lost more fights to Balance than any other.

Slowest game ever, coo-dos to those that can play it. I really liked the premise but it took so long to do anything.

This Article is cool! I Always try and Solo at least three to for times. Then, if I know I can't do it on my own. I ask a friend for help. But, The majority of the time, I do solo. It's sometimes sad to see just how clueless some players are in single combat.

I'm constantly being called to help others who pretty much need to be carried through the game. If they just tried to solo from the beginning, they might not have needed my help in the first place, Lol.

I soled most of my wizards through the game so I really understand how each school works. At times I had to get help. I too noticed that most people who always play in teams are clueless about the game. For example, it is common for "team" wizards to fire off minor spells constantly, wasting layers of feints, traps and making a big AoE impossible or a big hit on the boss. They think they are helping or have an ego problem and actually make the battle take so much longer that the team gets hammered and other wizards die. The best type of team employs a TANK in position 1, a BLADE-UP position 2 (for the hammer), a HAMMER in position 3, and a HEALER in position 4. Other players can blade up the Hammer and set traps too, and within a few rounds the boss and minions are all dead. Imagine this plan constantly destroyed by players that just have to hit with even their wand. They might do 500-to-1500 damage on a 30,000 health boss, where the set up could have done over 30,000 in one hit (Storm in my personal experience). They get mad if you don't chip away in the same manner even when you explain the plan and the low health for longer fights. I have a team of friends who are awesome and taught me this. But so many "only team" players are dependent, unable to use strategy and make their team mates take too much damage. They also get through the game faster, doing very little work and they never really experience the true difficulty of defeating tough bosses. I wish they would wear a sign so they can be avoided, lol

Your point is well made and you'll get no argument from me. However its important to remember many of the players are simply kids who just want to have fun and don't care or think critically in any capacity while playing because someone else is doing it for them. Sadly as teacher I have had this conversation with a few kids. What I find frustrating is when they jump in and cause problems for solo plays like myself. Two issues I know well. One is if I am on my storm wizard and they just in and bring more mobs when I am almost done and its a me or them fight. Secondly, usually happens on balance, life or death. I am placing all kinds of charms, blades ect and stacking a boss for a big hit. They jump in and use a level 2 spell and blow everything.
