Final Fantasy XI players, who have suffered a series of setbacks with the console closure and the recent reassignment of the veteran game director, will be happy to hear that a significant update has been applied to the game that includes mounts, new battle content, items and furniture.

    Damn. It's tempting to go back just to mess around knowing they're gonna be putting out some decent content updates - and apparently they're monthly updates at that, since it says the Ambuscade rewards change monthly with the latest update.

    My friend & I used to play FFXI on the PS2 but we only subbed for a year. We really didn't know what to expect except that it was FF and the game was being bundled with a hard drive lol. It's nice to hear PC servers are still up & offerring new content to long term fans.
