Pay off my bills and mortgage. Get some major house repairs done. Buy a car less than 25 years old. Maybe one more than 60 years old too. Surprise a very helpful neighbor.

Sadly, $200k in the UK doesn't go very far. I would pay off what little debt I have, go on one nice holiday, then use the rest to buy a house. Would probably account for maybe 1/3 - 1/2 of a standard house.
Alternatively, I might take the opportunity to go back into education. $200k is more than enough to pay for a second degree / masters and might allow me to enjoy more of life in the future, so definitely worth thinking about.

yeah a car....literally any car, would be the last thing on my list.
Yet you would but a trailer home and a truck. Oh, the irony.
ok one moves just me around (a car) and the other moves everything I own around. If I just want to move me around I would rather do that with a bicycle, foot, or motorcycle thank you
Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.

What I own is in the house I also own. I only need my car to travel. To each his own, whatever others do with their money is nobody's business
I agree with that.
I dont agree with the ironical point.
anyway...I was just saying I hate cars is all

I'd invest it (like I actually have done for over 25 years now) in a diverse mix of AAA financially rated companies with market caps of over 1 billion. I'd judiciously spend my dividends and some of my windfall capital gains as the years passed. And then finally, I'd sadly shake my head no as many of my "spend it" type friends came to me in later life begging for loans.
