    How will anyone be able to pick which version of Darkfall 1 to play ?? which will be More populated ?

    2 companies both making Darkfall 1 ....all the models will look the same in both games

    Aren't they actually going about revitalizing the games in completely different ways? one is taking it in a directions that seems to flesh it out and remove what they think are "issues" and I believe the other is trying to keep it as pure an experience as they can. I could be wrong about the second company but that was what I got from an article I read about them.

    By looking at which game is taking the game in which direction. Both games by their respective launches should be pretty different. They also could potentially have different locations for servers and different levels of customer service, etc. Just like any other game or product people should know what they're getting into.

    Funny story

    Darkfall has a pretty decent learning curve. If someone cannot get past the first step of figuring out which games ideas and dev team they like better, darkfall probably isn't for them.

    yaa I don't see it that way


    has Nothing to do with a learning curve when 1 game is being brought back by 2 different companies


    its just CONFUSING and people don't like being confused hahah

    I see it as everything to do with learning curve to an extent. Should a new player be interested in trying Darkfall, in both renditions they will be faced with the exact gameplay. Differences will only be in the environment and balance or attributes and abilities, which will obviously be different. 

    If said new players can't get passed the learning curve of one, they certainly won't be willing to try the other. As gameplay wise they will be the exact same.

    I will be playing Rise of Agon. This is the game most of the original Darkfall player base will be playing.

    There is a reason some of us old vets called it Darkfail.

    The OGs will be on RISE OF AGON.
    Also ROA is already in alpha and will most likely release first.
