Dude for tip 5 you should really clarify. Just taking those 5 levels potentially leads to an ending you may not want. I'm keeping this spoiler free but not necessarily a good tip at all.

Good tips. The series is highly addictive.

If you don't want to PvP, just don't join a PvP covenant. The others don't make the game any harder. Besides, there's no real penalty for covenants.

if u play knight, use longsword so long u get claymore. with claymore u 1-2 shot mobs. use shield only on trash mobs that attack fast, like dogs...

    Tips?

Not really. Allow to me furnish you with a tip though, good sir: People who are unfamiliar with a certain series of games, shouldn't write articles on the aforementioned series in an effort to provide "tips". Food for thought.

This seems like yet another useless filler piece, with no real content, and little to no inherent value. You can find most of the info above by simply reading the ingame tooltips. The rest is common sense.

    Come on guy...

Good tips (was wondering about some of the finer details on a few things), but I would also add:

    25. If you haven't played a Souls game before start with Dark Souls, or even Demon's Souls (feel free to skip Dark Souls 2). While Dark Souls 3 is arguable the best yet, it also seems to be tuned for veterans with the first 2 bosses being quite fast paced and unforgiving. It is also hard to really farm souls / equipment to make things easier until after the 2nd boss.

    26. If your playing on PC turn the 'Lighting' (graphics settings > advanced) level to 'Low' (and check it hasn't changed each time you start the game) due to a bug that causes random crashes and is especially dangerous around bonfires.

Bonus. You can play it on PC with a PS4 controller using DS4 tool (google it), just remember to run DS4 tool and tick 'Hide DS4 controller' before you start Steam.
