Incursion, the brand new patch for Tom Clancy's The Division, has invaded the game. This new patch introduces a plethora of new content including Assignments, new gear, Dark Zone Supply Drops, and of course the new raid-like incursion; Falcon Lost. In a game often faulted for its lack of end game content and worthwhile rewards, is Patch 1.1 enough to silence the naysayers?

I am not talking about the cheats doing it, but regular players ;(
I like the game, but it has so many faults imho. Right now the hot topic is people exploiting challenge mode incursion, when I say people, I mean everyone. Every challenge mode matchmaking group is exploiting, want to do it legit? You get kicked. Been known since Monday and Ubi haven't done anything to combat it, hopefully soon, but wouldn't be surprised if 40% of playerbase have already done it by now.
Like I said try my best to enjoy, but the exploits, glitchs and god knows what just keep rearing their ugly head with Ubi doing very little to help
Like Destiny's Crota raid, it's simply easier to find that one spot where you can avoid most of the fight's mechanics and faceroll your way to victory.
Why?
Because the "mechanics" are so bad. It's just a series of overpowered 1-2 hit kills best avoided, not confronted.
Literally the only challenge if you do the Incursion the "right" way is that occasionally you'll be swarmed by shotgunners coming from both ramps and dropping down the middle at the same time, and you have to adjust your position and focus fire accordingly, maybe pop a super.
Complex, multi-part mechanics like featured in Destiny' Vault of Glass or King's Fall are no where to be found.
Hopefully the next Incursion is a bit more mechanically challenging (and longer than 1 "boss" fight) but right now, I'm not impressed.
Yes, I've beat it, even got 2 set pieces (one I actually use.)
I bought the game hoping that it is something good and it turned out ...
kill mobs, kill mobs ubivaym mobs! After reaching the limit, and where? Dark in the zone? And as more flee flee kill kill!
All this is not interesting and boring is not what you pobegushek with friends just poor gRnid!
New Advertisement added combat drones to the enemy (the ones that we vidili at the very beginning when he first introduced the game)
Want some advice? do not buy the game, it's not worth it!
I lost count how many 182 gold drops I destructed/vendored, because they were worse than my 163 gold items! And I mean really worse! I even had some old Level 30 Purple ( 131 score) items that were better! It's a complete joke! /FACEPALM
I had about 64% or so mitigation before the 1.1 update with all Purple gear!
And now I have full gold gear + 1 set piece and my mitigation is down to 46% ! /shrug
Doesn't make any sense! A lot of people are complaining about this! I seriously hope they manage to fix this sooner than later!
And worse of all is that people are just constantly kicking you from Challenge mode groups because of gear score!
I have 169 now, but I see People With gear score around 150 - 160 or so being kicked all the time, eventhough 131 is the recommended gear score for daily Challenge missions! Disgusting! Developers NEVER learn! All gear scores do is poisoning the community! Before the 1.1 update everyone went along with eachother and now People are obsessed With gear score and either kicking People out of teams or just dropping out! I seriously regret buying the season pass and feel a bit Baited by Ubisoft with the 1.1 update! As the crafting changes are terrible too!
This patch was a joke, and a bad one at it. If this Incursion is a "raid", I'd rather play the "raid" called Killing Floor. For all the noise made over it, it is a disappointment. It just compounds on the games flaws rather than tap on it's strengths.
They try to call this an RPG because it has loot and stat sheets but there are no roles. I dare you to find a tank that can hold aggro, and more so, handle the grunt of it. 65% damage mitigation (the game's current cap without using other skills) is a must for everyone and even that will still get you one-shotted by enemies that are not even bosses. And despite any "increased threat (aggro)" bonuses you may compile, you simply can't keep the AI focused on you. So everyone must be on their toes, because your "tankiness" is for yourself only. Healing mostly only works against enemies that are not shotgunners or snipers, those two kinds usually just hit-kill your team members.
So in sum, you usually have 4 tanky-DPS members or 3 of those and a poor sod working as a healer/reviver.
But the worst part is the looting: Massive keeps saying it wants the game to focus on looting but the damned things are so scarce it is hard to say they are actually making an effort. Hell, before their update to looting, you actually got loot from bosses. Sure, you'd have to lucky out a High-End item or two if very lucky, but you'd get a handful of stuff from them. Now you get one High-End item and that's it. Or if you suffer through the Incursion -2- items, one HE and one Set item. Nope, you don't even get some crafting materials because Massive believes crafting to be the plague of it's game and wants you to avoid at all cost.
Sure, you could just go to the DZ and farm the bosses there. There are no lengthy missions prior to them, there are no twisted mechanics and they can drop the same things or better for less effort. Problem is that now the item sets compounded an issue that was already happening before: The gear you get in this game is not optimized for PvP. You can do SO much damage that a player simply cannot hope to survive, regardless of equipment or skills. Even the tankiest tanks hover about 130k'ish health with their 65% damage mitigation. When the assailant can open fire with a gun doing 20k per pullet at a whooping 650+ RPM, you are dead before you can press "T" to use your Survivor Link. Or they just put a single sniper round on you or two and off you go to the nearest respawn. There ain't even a need anymore for hacks, the game provides you with hit-kill capabilities if you use "Sentry's Call" and it's horrendously high compounding buffs.
Best idea roaming the forums, and I gotta agree, is: Stop sales, put it back into the burner, fix the game with the support of the community you have now to TEST things before implementing them, get it working properly and re-release it in the same style Square did with Final Fantasy XIV.
This game has potential, but Massive is just screwing it up left to right. They simply can't release even a hotfix without breaking something (today they fixed the Falcon Lost exploit and by doing so somehow broke the Dark Zone instancing as it ignores Gear Score for a lot of players and just tosses them at the 161+ instance) and it has been so for a while now.
I can't understand why Massive hasn't at least increased the stash yet.
Having two or more characters is really hard when you only have space to hold 40 items. Having to login and out of two or more characters to move things around is so frustrating that it makes me want to logout for the day/night after jumping through all those hoops.
Then the next day I often don't want to login and play because I know my routine will end with me having to login and out of characters to move gear around and deconstruct all the junk I received after spending hours with nothing but that junk to show for it.
It's so hard to get crafting materials, even if you spend a lot of time deconstructing gear... you are low on Tools and Electronics, you craft a bunch of an item hoping to get one that is decent. All the materials you had been saving for a week are gone after crafting 20 items... which you had to deconstruct 15-19 of afterwards, and to have no tools or electronics returned from deconstructing all the gear you just wasted time making is upsetting.
Massive is really good at making their game feel like a waste of time, incursions don't feel very rewarding for the amount of time I put into it to just end up getting more junk gear to deconstruct.

I have found in my lifetime, that the beauty of hating stupid people is, that it crosses all racial boundaries.
Agree, the final mission with the Helicopter was amazing!
I wish they made more of those, far more fun!
The Incursion is a joke.
the article you seek from this site is here in this link:http://www.mmorpg.com/newsroom.cfm/read/39202/The-Division-Prepare-for-Tomorrow-with-New-Incursions-Trailer.html#vanilla-comments
It's not the lack of content it's the mass amount of copy pasted missions and patters. This incursion if this is the full potentiel of this game...why not just play ZMR or something equally as tedious.
Dunno dig the game's theme (who doesn't like post disaster cities? So sick of small town disasters..).
I like the gear grind...
Everything else is so poor orchestrated it very much feels like 50 teams made the game and cobbled it together for an alpha and then just like said "fuck logic" and did what they did.
Enjoy getting those supply crates ....and being 1 bursted by a twinked mp-9 or vector from the lands of "wtfbbq". Because that's what happens with those.
DZ is officially shit...and that's the reason I even played this game was for the constant DZ spawns and interesting mechanics...these stupid ass drops have done nothing but create gank squads that there is no fucking counter to.
Unless it's con even more of my friends to purchase this unfinished game and lie to them that it's worth it.
Funny thing is...most of us playing the division feel this way lol that's all gen chat is..chinese and complaints about dz gank squads.
