As news of an exploit allowing The Division players to pass by the Incursions boss and collect the end 'raid' loot became better known, Ubisoft stepped into a thread to say that the fix to the issue is in the works. At the same time, devs indicated that those who chose to take advantage of the exploit were in violation of the Code of Conduct and that the team was exploring punishment terms.

Is this something new or the mobile cover through the wall exploit that was patched on Friday evening?

Good for them.  People know if they're doing wrong.  I don't buy the 'if the game allows it, it's ok crap'  You know the intent and you should follow it.  Prosecute to the fullest extent of the MMO law.

Are they going to do anything about the hackers in PVP n the PC? I was going to buy for both XB1 and PC, but gave up as soon as I saw the amount of complaints of hackers. Having a great time with my son on XB1 though.

Now if only Massive/Ubisoft was being so diligent in fixing the assortment of bugs ("One is None" being a HUGE bugbear atm), mission issues for players that has been happening since day 1 of the game, balancing the game's stats so it will fix PvE and PvP (The latter to an extent. The way the game works, they should look at how Warframe from Digital Extremes does PvP because they have the very same issues)...

But they ain't. That's why people hurl themselves in droves towards exploits. Game is great up to level 30, from there on, it's a bloody mess.

Someone needs to start a company that hires people who like to find exploits and bugs in games.  Then this company needs to be a playtesting service for large games, so that these things are discovered and fixed early.  This company should be paid a flat rate and their employees should receive bonus's for finding exploits and bugs.  You monetize that shit, and I bet there would be a game within a month of this company opening that barely had any bugs or exploits.

One of the major problems with Alphas, Betas or any early access at all is that there is a contingent of people who get into them with only one purpose and that is to find an exploit or bug to use once the game is live.  They have no intention of ever reporting it, just abusing it and putting Day 1 players off balance until it's fixed.

How long has this game been out and they're just now responding to one of the biggest complaints by rules abiding players?

    1. I'm 99.99% sure they have no way of tracking who is exploiting these mobile cover glitches as this would mean they have code implemented to track it, which in theory also would mean they could stop players from doing it. These glitches have been present since release with the Russian Consulate mission previously, now the Incursion mission and I'm sure there are more I have missed.

    2. In terms of punishment what are they going to do? When they are wording it like that they will surely not ban people completely. So what then? Temporary bans? I'm sure that wouldn't bother the exploiters too much anyway since they can just play something else and come back to The Division later when there'll also be more new content. Just fix your shit and move on.

I have found in my lifetime, that the beauty of hating stupid people is, that it crosses all racial boundaries.

Don't hold you breaths guys, exploiters and hackers have been running this game for a while now. We've been getting the same line you see above every time, just worded differently.

You say how will they know who hacks or exploits? Just go on the forums, people are openly admitting to it because Ubi/Massive haven't done anything about it, a thread pops up everyday of people recording or screenshoting hackers, you name it, but nothing has changed. Youtubers, heck even Ubi themselves had their very own twitch streamers using glitches and bugs.

Example of what I mean, here's a post by the same person about the matter.

"We have by no means confirmed punishment at all, so I wouldn't worry about it for now ;)"

It's a mess, which is sad because the game has so much potential. Still fun with mates
