Fans of one of the original sci-fi MMOs, RF Online (Rising Force Online) will be pleased to hear that CCR has filed a trademark request for RF Online 2 and lists it as downloadable software that may include a virtual reality component.

    This was a very good game back then. I still remember the ost from the cinematic trailer. I especially love the pvp in this game.

    I tried it for a while and the camera controls were hard to understand. I couldn't figure half of it out. Don't get me started at how unfriendly the community was.

    One of my first mmos. I remember when me and some of my Lineage 2 private server buddies use to play.

    Cool. I really liked the idea of playing a big badass robot soldier when I was younger.
    But I never really got too into the game somehow. Can't remember why. Tried it again much later but it was too late for us honest players, so to say.

    When/if the RF2 comes out I'm sure gonna give it a shot.

    I enjoyed RF Online. The game was super fun, I like it when games have 3 faction pvp that actually works. Chip wars were super fun when there wasn't cheaters. Once Codemasters were no longer the publisher, they added a bunch of really crappy features like the leveling weapons, that completely gimped out your character because they did a ton of damage but didn't raise weapon skills, so you would have to go get the skills up manually by grinding later. Also just how imbalanced the factions became once the publishers changed for the 8 times or whatever that they have changed so far. Now it's hosted by like redfox or something like that. 

    They also never released the space part of the game that had trailers years and years ago, it looked freaking great. I really hope RF2 is good, it's something I've been wanting to play that just got ruined over time by bad choices.

    Well, the games still going under RedFox, and player base is pretty good since the new server, opened 30 days ago. Hacker free

    What happened to GamesCampus RF? Did they end the contract with CCR?

    CCR did his part as well, the game was far better when it was P2P even when you did lose the CW you could still farm for ores, but then f2p hit, and they did the max as possible to prevent the ore farming, and force player to use the cash shop, plus you can notice, till 50 the game was well polished and each armor set was his own skin, after that just rewashed skins for armor and weapons, the game was good but I still mention RF as a game who was killed by the devs, they decisions was the real killer here

    last I know they sold the right to another publisher, don't know wht did happen after, but you can bet one thing the same bugs and dupes happens

    GamesCampus was acquired by webzen. So the former CEO of GamesCampus started RedFox Games and got some of the games webzen did not want. If you want to check it again its a great time to do so, since there is this new server.
