Finally found a home-sort of

Well, finally, after having tried about a dozen of the mid to top games out here as a replacement for SWG I'll stay with AA for a while, most likely.  I'm not crazy about it but its ok for a while.

It's nothing remotely close to SWG or even a rpg but its something different then the standard Casting, Tanking, Mage and Elves saga.  Maybe its whats needed to get away from the same type games all the time.  Maybe its why Galaxies was so special.  That and because of the way it once was but thats another story.

I've seen many bad reviews out here on AA but I don't find it as bad as what I've read regarding it. Believe me most of these other games are far worse.

Today,  I began once again paying for WoW.  Something I thought would never happen as I played it and never got around to liking it.

Seems my son and his friends who happen to be together in the same guilds in many different games are now headed to WoW.  So, I'll now be paying for a game I don't like.   Yeah,  sometimes this is part of what being a parent is all about.

    Oblivion Elder scrolls IV is coming out on the 21st. Me thinks Dad needs some Single Player gaming time image

    I know Im going to drop off the MMO market for a couple of months playing that game image

    AA started it's last free beta weekend on friday it runs until tuesday as I recall, and anyone can get an access key from them to play.

    Yeah buddy i will be playing OESIV for a good while also, mainly till Vanguard comes out so i can give that a try i have heard a ton of good things about it, but unitl then Elder Scrolls it is image

    That is exactally my plan! Vanguard definately looks like it has potential.

    Good thing we got OESIV to keep us occupied till it comes out :)

    hehe nice this game comes out on my birthday!  Wish I was still under 18 so I could get this game as a B-day gift.  As an adult I never get any "kid" games.  image
