North American Diablo 3 players will automatically have their game updated to v2.4.1 on launching Battle.net. The latest update brings some pretty neat cosmetic items into the game for players to find as they journey through the game world.

I love what's in this patch but Season 6? Not so much. The sad fact is that, outside of achievements, there's little incentive to start yet another character as all of the gear sets being offered are ones I already own. :/

I was late to the party in doing seasons 4 and 5 are the only ones I have done. I am excited for 6. I have a couple of friends out west I get to play with so I am looking forward to it. Plus I have never played a Witch Doctor passed level 15 so that is what I will play =)
Witch Doctors are hella fun. I have 2 level 70 hardcore WDs, each with a different 'spec'. Right now, nearly the entire first 100 players by rank in the world are either Wizards or Crusaders, the first 20-30 almost exclusively Wizards. LOL -- I love the underdog classes....yeah....*mourns the fall of the Monk, the weakening of the Demon Hunter and the increasing irrelevance of the Barb then glares at the Crusader* :D

Several of the armor sets have been changed and as set pieces you already have aren't updated, you'll need to get new ones for the new features. There, reason to do season 6. :p

Sadly, that means my season 5 Invoker set needs replacing already. Hmm, I wonder if re-rolling set items using the cube will work for old pieces, to convert them to new? Don't think so, but I've never tried.

@blueturtle13 If you think Crus are OP, try a Wizard. :anguished:

Correction: it seems set pieces do get the new features automatically after all. I could have sworn they didn't, but I'm glad I can keep my current Invoker set. :)

Have fun guys, but since I have Grim Dawn, Diablo3 is only catching dust...

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

Really? My crusader does more damage than my wizard, and has ten times the survivability. Wizard dies very, very quickly, and most elite packs starting in torment 5 or so can negate or bypass most wizard defensive abilities. And God help you if you get rooted, because unless you have teleport on CD, you're completely screwed.

Wizards pack a good amount of cannon, but they're also paper-thin glass. That being said, I think I'll roll one up this season, since I don't have a wizard set yet.

AN' DERE AIN'T NO SUCH FING AS ENUFF DAKKA, YA GROT! Enuff'z more than ya got an' less than too much an' there ain't no such fing as too much dakka. Say dere is, and me Squiggoff'z eatin' tonight!

We are born of the blood. Made men by the blood. Undone by the blood. Our eyes are yet to open. FEAR THE OLD BLOOD.

I am glad some folks are looking forward to the new season. I on the other hand found this patch to be somewhat lacking. It is going on the shelf for now. Have fun guys and gals. :)

Seems to me they're going overboard with the DPS inflation - and the game is becoming less and less about experiencing new things - and more and more about repetition.

Fun look at Season 5 solo rankings -- or depressing depending on your class (I'm in the depressed group, btw). :dizzy:

The first non- Crus / Wiz shows up at #23, then not another class until the 40s. :P
