Hope they don't make the same mistake as they made with city of steam when choosing a publisher/investor.

Boobs are LIFE, Boobs are LOVE, Boobs are JUSTICE, Boobs are mankind's HOPES and DREAMS. People who complain about boobs have lost their humanity.

And they DO pick the same guy to make their music. Never played CoS, but the soundtrack is pretty good on Spotify.

Daniel Sadowski is the composer's name. I love the CoS soundtrack and have it on my Spotify playlist for a good reason. He's got a pretty impressive list of credentials too. :)

It's not that they failed so much as struggled with publishers and reward vs content issues. R2Games drove CoS into the ground, then sold on a Chinese market for far higher profit than could be achieved via the direction the game was going originally. It was really upsetting, but the devs did hint that they regrettably went the route of making money instead of sticking to their idea. We're all hoping they won't make that mistake again.

Nice article and informative comments as well. Went from 'no way in hell because CoS' to 'slightly interested' because of those. Will keep an eye on this one now, thanks!

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

It is just huge resource waste....'
