Looks nice and all, wih the dusk, morning, late afternoon when standing still with photoshop feature enable, but broad daylight imo looks really awful in BDO everything is so bright, and the shadows in the trees canopy are flickering like the anti aliasing and SSAO is broken, and when you are walking/riding, popins everywhere, broken lod rendering.
Dont get me wrong I do love this game but this promo vid for BDO graphic is straight up lie how the game REALLY looks and behave..
I see a TON of fogged out graphics, not a very good selection.
Nobody can tell me fog with blue hue lighting looks good because it does not.
However having played the game it looks good, nothing special,i see housing,i see some nice textures, nothing i haven't seen before in FFXIV and have seen great textures even as far back as FFXI just not HD.
I don't think anyone has ever said the game doesn't look good "other than as i mentioned, fog areas look bad",the game play however is below average and many design decisions are well below average.
Since forum users here and elsewhere as well as websites for the past 2 years have been saying the game looks great WHY would Ripper 2 years late to the party decide NOW to bring this up?
ANYONE that is a remote part time gamer already knows what BDO looks like.
BDO has and will always get a passing grade on graphics,no need to further advertise this aspect.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Unfortunately, it's the way some facets are played that is the problem.
Black Desert looks so much better than anything out or anything coming.
Thanks Volgore!
