If NCSoft were to remaster City of Heroes wold u play? If yes, would u rather F2P or Sub and why.
Myself I would definitely play it, even if it were the exact same game with better graphics. I would prefer the subscription model cuz I don't like cash shops and most F2P games don't hold my interest.

CoH may not have been as 'big' a game as WoW was, but it was certainly just as iconic.
I'd much more prefer the original CoH, back online and running. Until then, CO is a nice "on-the-side" MMO for me
I would take the original CoH over a remastered one.

It had nice character options from creation to load-out. Yet the mission structure as well as game-world were just too damn repetitive for me.

As for the game itself, sure i'd love to see it back, I enjoyed it and would be interested in playing it again.
Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.
Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.
There are fans though who are working on a modern not-so-clonish-that-NC-could-sue-us version of CoH.

If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.
May the Chaos forever bind you to it's glory.
Agree with either removing mission architect or moderating it or adding limits so people can't just create and then run farms all day long. That, more than anything else killed the game for me.
As has been stated many times, a better random mission generator would be huge, instead of the same office complexes over and over and over...
Rethink the secondary leveling systems so they don't fell so tacked on. IO enhancements? Yay! Alpha incarnate slot? Yay again! Beta, gamma, etc incarnate slots that are mostly time sinks? Not so yay.
They needed to do more stuff that showed off the outstanding XYZ combat that was in the game.
More minor improvements, whatever. The bottom line for me is that if CoH/V came back in any form that was close to what we had, I would cancel every game I am currently playing and sub for a year to CoH.
The world is going to the dogs, which is just how I planned it!
Judging from the responses it's amazing how the game still has a loyal following.
Played that game at release and it was really repetitive and grindy tbh.. Soon after I sampled all the travel powers my interest plummeted. Still I had a blast making heroes, trying out powers, and group play was crazy. Still have screens of my first Task Force.
In fact, that is why I play Marvel Heroes, but NOT DC Universe.
