So me and a few friends looking for a new mmo to play, Now there is a couple of mmo that has caught my eye, but im not too sure about it due to 1)There is reports of LOADS of hackers in it 2) i cant find the much info about it
There 2 mmo i am talking about is black desert online and Riders of icarus . Im just not too sure about either one. Any advice ups or downs about each game. which would be better ?
I am more of a pve player myself but i dont mind pvp .
Other than these 2 games, is there any others out there coming soon/just release ? that will be decent?

I'm having a blast in Black Desert and this is far from my first rodeo.
also on your post you said, "it has affected me.... not one bit to be honest" was that suppose to be it has not affected me?
also i had a look at wild star, what are peoples thoughts on that? i was really interested when it was in beta and was coming near release, but RL hit me and i could not play for a few months. but when i came back i heard that it was awful in alot of ways
:waving: Now that the Anniversary is over I'm planning to focus more on TSW, at least until the Spring festival kicks in. In the meantime you can keep up the LotRO posts in here
Speaking of Landy, on a second thought I may hop in the weekend, there will be the 2016 Spring Racing Carnival, love that event. edit: https://youtu.be/kFECBO9vEDo
How would I rate it? I haven't played anything else since it launched. I'm enjoying the hell out of it. It has issues, but FOR ME, those issues have not affected me. I'm just as involved as anyone in gearing up, but I haven't even had a PK attempt on me yet.
Issues aside, there's a very large paradigm shift from what you might be used to, which I actually kind of like; you don't gain combat experience from quests (some you do but not enough to use quests to level up) but you get contribution points or other kinds of life xp depending on the quest. You get combat xp from killing. This is the sandbox-ish element, you could never bother doing quests, except for the fact that some give inventory slots, and a lot of them are geared towards teaching the systems. The end result here is I do end up doing quests when I feel like it. Or I do something else. I built a boat, I fish, I climbed a mountain because it was there (climbed. not running uphill) Last night my guildmates and I did some boss scrolls and some harder quests together, did a lot of fooling around and having fun. The rails are off, I do what I please, and that is what I like about this game.
TLDR; It has issues. They don't affect me as much as others. I'm having the most fun I've ever had in an MMO. you can get off the roller coaster any time and explore the sandbox. I recommend it, but I understand that it's a commitment having to buy the game up front.
