This was a big week for fans of The Witcher 3. Not only did we find out that the final, massive expansion, Blood and Wine, will be releasing on May 31st, but the embargo on a March preview event expired, leading to an incredible info dump of exciting details (credit to Dmax3901 on NeoGaf). Its safe to say, Blood and Wine is a game changer.

Great Witcher news! Those guys are crazy. Oh and didn't Mass Effect 3 come out in 2012?

Stoked to get back into The Witcher 3! I will greatly miss Geralt of Rivia, I hope the direction they go for the next one at least makes mention of his deeds or plays off his story through another character. Hurry up and finish that weird CyberPunk game I'm never going to play and get started on another genre defying Witcher rpg please!

The best game I played all of last year, and when they're done releasing all of the DLC, I'm gonna buy it all and make it the best game of that year too.

Yes Mass Effect 3 came out in 2012. Mass Effect: Andromeda is the title they are talking about which is not a sequel to Mass Effect 3.

Witcher 3 is the only game i've bought a season(expansion) pass for! its in my Steam directory it already shows blood and wine expansion acquired but not installed, so, yeah, one of the few games out there that imo are worth buying into the season pass thing B)

Anyone who has ever read a single post by me knows how critical I am of the business practices of some companies.
CDPR has never done anything even remotely fishy - this company just keeps on delivering.
It's good to know companies like that still exist.

"With around 30 hours of content, we’re approaching “whole game” territory here." Approaching? I've bought and played MANY $60 games, including "RPGs", that had a fraction of 30+ hours of content.

Yeh, CDPR is definitely the best and least lazy of most game developers. Their attention to detail is second to none. Very seldom do I praise game developers or studios, but when I do, CDPR is almost always the first to come to mind.

Just to make something clear, the Devs didn't "choose" to make Toussaint have a lighter feel, but the region itself is like that in the books, it's described as the closest thing to a fairy tale location, even when war is raging in the neighbouring lands.

It has monster problems of course, but not the misery caused by war we've seen in most Witcher games.

This made me buy the game again and replay it. The Witcher is really the best RPG i've played in a long time.
