Doesn't that kind of ruin the game to hand level 60 characters to brand new accounts? If I just started an MMORPG, or any RPG at all, I have to use the leveling process to learn my character and skills, if they just hand me a level 60 and say "Here you go! Have fun!" then I will go in super confused. Like back in the day when you could blatantly tell when someone bought their character from ebay or a gold farming site. It just seems to be pointless to skip the leveling process at least on a brand new account, maybe it would make more sense to give that to people right now who have played before.

That level 60 character start right in KOTFE and you get blocked from a huge portion of the PVE once you start it. It's meant for people who just want to experience KOTFE (it's a solo storyline) and know the previous PvE content and stories. It doesn't make sense for newcomers to use it right away.

SWTOR is so hard and demanding(complexity) that you would never get to KOTFE is you played by BIOWARE F2P rules. It would take you like 3 years because of the daily limits on the game.

What? The game itself is not hard or demanding, and definitely not complex in the least. The restrictions to F2P are a pain in the whatever, but that's been known for a while now... I don't think anyone really plays the game F2P it's too restrictive to do so.

    LOL, no.

We have nearly a dozen new players in the last 2 months in my guild and they have all hit the pre xpacs level cap(50) or are close to it and they have taken mine and others advice on buying things they need through the GTN to unlock what they need. Now if they decide to buy or subscribe to get further along it certainly won't take them years...more like a couple months tops to get through to 65.

It's realy not a bad game. It's just not a very good mmorpg. Plays more like a pretty linear singleplayer storydriven game. For new players swtor does have some mmo value i guess, but it's been quite a while since new groupcontent was released, at least for pve. You just have to know what servers are pretty much dead and what servers are still decently populated. That is unless you plan to play swtor like a singleplayer game, then i guess server population doesn't realy matter much.
