Getting tired of this same dweeb's blog getting linked here so often. I guess he's moved on from hating on Neverwinter and then ESO and is now hacking and duping BDO.
Well, the one advantage of letting this out in the open is it could put pressure on the devs to address it. I mean that generally about problems in games. Also, if they opened their bug database so everyone can see the issues, they might do a better job in the first place.
The MMOFails blogger is nothing but a self-glorified hacker who targets specific games he currently has a hate for to lol at for their incompetence. He's got blogs going back several years with the same "I hacked game X. Game X is shit" schtick directed at Neverwinter, ESO and BDO.
If you think he's providing a public service you're just falling for his trolling.
And the links to his site here, which have been done in several threads multiple times in the past month in this forum, are sort of dodgy since he's detailing how he does the hacks. How are those links any different than linking to elitepvpvers, ownedcore, hags-club or any of the other MMO hacking sites?
Heck a year ago just mentioning those sites in a post would be enough to get you a warning here. Now? It seems that it's perfectly fine to link to them "for science."

Lol, shocking. This game is pure entertainment, without playing it. Wish I never did play it, as this is definitely funner.

seriously BDO one of the biggest fail of all the game since many years, after many of the most important security stuft was client side ( on your computer ) they now got a DUPE PROBLEM !!

It seems there are some people here that don't know a whole lot about software development and life cycles. I'll give you a small set of the rules of thumb, so you can understand a few points. As a side note, anyone who's done enough tech support or real beta testing (not that we call it a beta but we're actually just doing this to ramp up hype garbage that's so common these days) is already aware of.
First, if you can't identify that something is an issue, it will NEVER get fixed. So yes, if you find a bug or something that just isn't right, report it!
Priorities Rule! If an issue isn't a showstopper (it crashed to desktop and started deleting my hard drive, etc) it's not critical and goes in the queue. There's only so many resources to fix things, and they'll tend to start with the ones that are most prevalent. So that means if only 20 people report it, it's low on the list and probably will never get dealt with. On the other hand, if everyone and their family is screaming about it, even if only 20 people were actually affected, it goes way up the list! So even though this might be 'gaming the system', it's often the only way to get certain things dealt with. Mind you, there are still other factors that determine if they'll get around to it, so if you've got entire armies of friends screaming about some bad grammar an NPC uses, you still won't get much traction at all, it's a cosmetic issue.
Third thing to watch out for, do NOT EVER INSULT THE DEVS OR THREATEN LEGAL ACTIONS!!! Always be polite, or at least civil. You start getting nasty, they start ignoring you. You start talking about legal stuff, you immediately get shunted to the legal department and will likely never communicate directly with devs again. By the way, it doesn't matter if you didn't mean it, it just matters that you said it.
Now that's a pretty short list of 3 easy things to remember, but it's amazing how many people don't get it, and do really stupid things.
Oh, and if anyone is curious, I have seen a bugged file that never got out of the internal testing that they named 'quickprotect' out of homage to Dilbert because it wiped out a drive faster than you could. Now that was a real showstopper, but at least it didn't contact your friends and family and do the same thing while screaming insults at them. :awesome:
Duping has always been possible in all version of Black Desert, but that's the least of your problems since the game is nearly all client sided. It means hackers/cheaters essentially win.
I sometimes want to try this game just to exploit and hack the hell outa it..I can imagine all the people that have lag switches having a ball in this one.

think about it !! i would call it the robin hoob events: players try to screen shot equipments of rich players or peoples who get to much money ( they can buy expensive items )
^^ Which is why I usually let a game sit and simmer for a couple of months before I jump in. Not only do I avoid long download times, log in Q's, crammed starting zones and early bugs, but if the game is totally compromised on every level, then I can just avoid it entirely. Which is what it looks like I'm going to be doing with this title.
After getting burned by AAs early access I've adopted this same policy and it's served me well since.

Yeah it's like a soap-opera. xD I stopped caring about combat in this game since field bosses suck, red battle field is a joke and owpvp is laughable. I just gather to craft fishing boats and fishing boat attachments so i can fish. Fishing simulator 2016 is awesome!
Apparently this dupe doesn't even work. People have tried to reproduce it without success. Not to mention the whole "method" was super sketchy to begin with.
But I guess just cause some random guy says you can dupe items, everyone assumes it's true and mentions it anytime the game is mentioned.
