the population on this days?
we can find partys? because i hate play alone :P
i have play almost all games online in the market and i never found a world like Ryzom,i remember one day i login and saw the snow for the first time and say to me: grrr my grafic card is broken lol,it was just the winter have arrive ,i hope this game not die because its a amazing game

Population is still pretty low, at least on the English Speaking server. I have no idea what it's like on the other two Euro servers.
Zorai is still the least populated race. The Kami's currently have the smallest amount of supports where as the Karavan are going strong. Again, this is more from what I read on their forums than my experience in game. I just recently came back and I've been spending most of my time with a new char on the starter island.
I'd check out the Ryzom Forums to ask more questions.
Since the start of this year the population has been growing from what I can see. Lots of former players are returning and many new players are taking up subs from what I've seen.
In the 2 years I've played I don't think I've seen Atys so busy as it is now.
R2 can only help this situation, and recent news suggests thats not far away now

Shouldn't have much trouble getting a team together if you join a good guild that knows how to mix levels effectively. I don't know how easy or hard finding a team is outside of a guild by asking in region etc., since my main character is in that kind of guild and has been since I started playing.
And all my alts pretty much solo by choice.

No clothes dissapear when out of HP, you cannot repair them.
This helps keep the economy going, otherwise once you had good equip, you would never need more.

I tired playing the game and it was interesting but with graphics at the lowest settings it was really really slow. Even when the game is loading its slow. It said I should increase my amount of memory so it could load faster! I have 2GB of DDR!!!
Maybe its my video card...

Gigabyte GA-8INXP motherboard
2.53Ghz processor
2GB Ram
GeForce 4 Ti 4400
multiple harddrives, total around 200GB of space

Loads slow as dirt, always has. Gameplay is fine on the highest settings out running around but in town it blows.
I play just below the highest settings with AA/AF off, 1280x1024 and it runs fine everywhere. Still loads slow though. Loads even slower on my p4 2.4/1gb corsair/ti 4200 but i still run on the same settings/resolution and it runs fine, cept in town. Too many wandering useless NPC's that would make the game feel more "real" if they didn't make the towns lag like sh*t, imo.
Oh, i've also got the draw distance on maximum but all the crap on the ground, Micro Vegetation or whatever is turned off on both computers. cant see the friggin yubos with all that stuff in the way...
