I was just wondering if anyone else was having this kind of problem. first of all Palborough mines=deathtrap.
Now, I was on last night for 4 hours, I went from bastok to palborough, got a group. and exped, got about 200 exp and died. group disbanded and i find another one. head to palborough, same thing. then i head to highlands (heard they were good) and i find a great group! we get about 400exp before we die, stupid grenade added onto us. anyway, i spent 4+ hours traveling and grouping for -100 exp (after i soloed a little before i logged off) very frustrating.
Post your stories of misery

I know what you mean. I took my whm to the highlands at LvL 9 ( a group I was in wanted to see if we'd survive). I spend most of the night running back and forth between my bind point and the group. The warrior in my group didn't realized how important it was to provoke After he started to use it we did ok, but had to run from many high LvL goblins we couldn't take. I don't think I really gained any exp that night.
Just yesterday I brought my LvL 11 warrior to Palborough mines with a newbie friend I was trying to teach how to play with a group. He didn't quite grasp the concept of attacking the same monster as me . It also didn't help that he decided to reoganize his inventory while I was attacking. I ended up dying a few time, but I didn't mind too much since he was my friend and I'd rather have him make mistakes with me so I can correct him, than with a stranger who would be very aggrovated. Plus, when I died I found a whm and a warrior that wanted to join us so I guess in the end it woked out alright because we actually gained some exp after the additions to the group .
A friend of mine told me that you just have to learn to stick with groups even if they're bad because you'll probably end up LvLing with those same people in different groups that could be better. It's a good way to make friends and ensure your spot in future grouping situations.
Whate server are you on Sensei? Maybe we could group together since we're about the same LvL (thoug I doubt we're on the same serever since there are 30 or so servers). And to answer your question 7000 gil is an okay amount of money for a LvL 10. I have around 15,000 gil, but I'm a major pack rat so I sell everything I find at the auction house.
My apologize for the long post. TTyL TTFN!
