Beta for Savage Eden

in Savage Eden: The Battle For Laghaim

Well,  after getting everything up and going now... logged into the game for the first time last night.  Not bad at all.  The graphics are light, so to speak... nice atmosphere.  Took a bit to get use to the buttons and functions, heh but that's a given... learning how something works.

Started working on exp, there after.   Well talk about a gang rush of mobs, lol  You pick one and then will end up a dozen eventually without taking hardly any steps forward.

So far the apparence of it and the play is basic and simple.  I was having fun playing.  One side note... they need more music or a bigger variety.

    Same here,

    It reminds me of diablo 2 or dungeon siege as far as interface.  As far as theme, it reminds me of Final Fantasy VII/VIII.  The graphics are attractive, semi-decent character creation with limited avatar customization, I didnt really notice any lag, but then again this is just getting started (over here).

    All in all its pretty neat, if your not looking to go mainstream with your MMORPG, this may be the game for you.

    I'm enjoying it. The graphics are fine. I like the way you get missions/quests. My only complaint is the lack of...tradeskills! Yea yea, I know thats not what the games about...but hey, I'll live with it.

    We have yet to try the quests.  Might try that tonight.  I seen the button there... but didn't click on it...  was to flustered over the butterfly thingy I have... playing the aidia... oh well, it was funny at the moment.

    Ooooh, the gambling thing tho, that was interesting.  Just the one dude I took notice to, allows ya to gambling   *raises her brow*

    Yea, you can gamble your Chips. And as for quests, you using the mission reciever? They basically give you a "Kill a cursed white tiger" or "Kill 10 Lada, 10 armored crabs, and 10 white tiger" type missions at my level. Good xp and lime though

    This game really has a D2 interface, but it is still fun.  Yes you can gamble but it is hard to win, and I have yet to try missions. im level 29 atm

    It is a total 3D dialbo 2, but it is in closed beta, so you would have to be selected to play it

    Greetings people...

    I woke up this morning & found an invite to Savage eden. what a nice wakeup call :)

    I look forward to beta testing this game and have fun at the same time.

    the graphics are aweful at the moment. I hope they pick up. Not to say the gameplay essense can be good its just butt ugly image

    What mission receiver? Have i been missing out on easy XP?image

    You bu ya mission revceiver from the mercahnts that sell pots, and yes you have, and some easy money too :p
