Nielsen has released a new paper called 360 Gaming Report that reveals some very similar worldwide gaming statistics. Across the globe, gamers spend between 8-15% of leisure time primarily playing on consoles and mobile devices with a nearly 50-50 split between male and female gamers. Console gamers tend to be in the 35 and under bracket with PC gamers averaging between 30-45 years old.

    So, what we're saying is that people who can afford computers are more likely to have them? And poorer countries like freemium mobile games while richer ones prefer to buy a game? I mean, statistics are "interesting" but really rather meaningless. You can jump to any number of conclusions based on statistics. For example: there are far fewer female gamers than male, so females must not like video games. Or that far more males play first person shooters, so men all like to kill people, while women "won't" play violent games. Neither of these things is true.

    Wow.. dudes mostly play consoles and pc and females mobile. Really I didn't need a study for that but someone got a job.

    You are free to make all kinds of esoteric interpretations of the data, that's your prerogative.

    But trying to invalidate the data because your interpretations are ridiculous, well... :confounded:
