imageLast Closed Beta Even Kicks Off

Nexon has sent word that lucky CBT holders can now check into Riders of Icarus with today's start of the final testing phase. Testers will be able to log in from today through Tuesday, June 7th. The global NDA has also lifted so players can now write about and stream their experiences in RoI that will be kicking off early access on June 29th.

    So good to be playing a traditional trinity based mmorpg again.

    I miss my Tank, Healer, DPS group mechanics.

    I'm surprised to see so many "annoyances" in what's considered a "final closed beta". Personally, if not for the "taming" aspects I would probably be "meh" on this game thus far, granted I only played an hour so far.

    Guyz i had 2 characters in last beta phase but they are all gone ! will it happen again for next beta phase ? ? ?

    yes gets wiped everytime, standard beta thing, sometimes some games allow toons from open beta to carry forward, but this is rare unless pure cashgrab 
    but always from cbts 

    This post is all my opinion, but I welcome debate on anything i have put, however, personal slander / name calling belongs in game where of course you're welcome to call me names im often found lounging about in EvE online.

    yes gets wiped everytime, standard beta thing, sometimes some games allow toons from open beta to carry forward, but this is rare unless pure cashgrab

    I got into 2 closed betas but every time i open the launcher i get "Error: An unknown network error has ocurred" i can't get pass that point so i guess i won't even get to try the game.

    Wish I could of grabbed one of those free beta keys that were being offered here.  Looking forward to this game.  Looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun.  See you guys at launch!

    Usually if you signup on the site they throw everyone in for final closed beta testing.  That's how I usually get a key, and you get an email about open beta when it's up.

    I still don't understand why Nexon is publishing one of the most generic MMORPGs to come out recently.

    This garbage pales in comparison to Vindictus or even Dragon Nest, released many years ago. Even DFO, which they shutdown.

    I expect it to be shutdown not too long after release.

    Already running a guild in Closed beta 3. So far amazing. Its definitely not generic considering its a game that has actually raid content built around FLYING MOUNTED COMBAT. Think of games like world of warcraft that have mounts that do nothing. That are just cosmetic add-ons to show off. Here is a game where you have mounts and familiars that are actually used in raids and open world combat. With godzilla sized monsters you raid against. With actually amazing fun challenging combo systems that are not macroed to oblivion. This is a game that actually does show case player skill. Riders of Icarus is not bland its not basic its actually beautiful and amazing to play. TheJedi#4944 to anyone who wants to share in the fun. Thats my discord contact info.
