Female Character Model - Finally After 4 Years?

Looks like we might get female characters soon, took long enough.

    It adds extra work. In my eyes this means that they are getting closer to the finish line... I might be totally of though.

    They need to make them sexier, like in Overwatch.  That will really bring in some serious attention, it's not PC but it's true.

    Average age of Overwatch player :  14 ?

    Average age of Star Citizen player : 40 ?

    Maybe they do NOT have to make them "sexier" because the target audience is older and not as horny. Maybe they do not have to make them so sexy that all the porn companies can rip off the character models, remove the clothing and use them in their hentai porn.  Use them so much, that Blizzard was forced to sue them en masse.

    The overwhelming majority of SC players will be male. Eye-candy will be appreciated in all aspects of the game world, not just the ship models... :D

    That poor bastard is using a Nostromo.  You'd think with 300 million in donations, they could afford a G13 for the poor concept artist.  Especially since concepts are about the only thing that RSI actually makes!

    You think people over 40 don't like sexy female characters?   Also why can't this game appeal to younger players?  Lets say less like overwatch and more like Mass effect if that example works better for you.



    Also what blizzard are doing with the porn crackdown is what's called outrage advertising, they don't care about porn in the slightest. It's just free mass advertising for their new title, that actually pushes how sexually appealing the game is by drawing attention to the porn.

    If they cared they would be cracking down on wow porn that uses their assets, starcraft or all the other games.

    Nah, nobody here's going to believe that...

    Maybe the artist actually prefers the Nostromo. Some people are weird like that.

    It's not really donations, since people are wanting to get something out of putting money forward.

    The amount of hype from this game and CoE is staggering. I swear every time somebody from either one of these Kickstarters takes a leak we hear about it.

    This is a trivial art feature, working on it takes artists away from real work on ships and structures. Why would you ask developers to work on redundant, trivial art assets instead of the actual game?

    Then have the audacity to bitch at them for taking too long? Shit if they listened to you they would have amazing looking plants and females and nowhere to put them.

    At the very least, I'm sure they didn't expect to get critiqued on it.

    We also hear about it when they DON'T take a leak, because that "raises red flags" in some quarters ! :D
