Has the gaming industry become a Lagard?

Film industry is embracing VR more than the gaming industry. Video games started out as a 'innovator'  on the distribution of innovation but maybe now they have fallen behind? or maybe the the film industry is becoming more innovative or maybe film is just a better choice for VR?
personally I think its the latter, better choice for VR. not that VR for gaming isnt good, I think its great and hold a lot of propmise but I think for movies its obvious

Not really. My personal thoughts are that the video game industry isn't exactly lagging behind. It may be more like there's just much more problems to solve and things to figure out with the use of VR in actual full-length video games than in using VR to put players/viewers in other people's shoes for a short period of time, the latter of which is what Hollywood's been doing lately.
