Landmark's Trailblazers are now able to enter the full release version of Landmark and can take part in 48-hours of early access. The official site has some instructions for players who may be having issues with the Launchpad and the thread will continue to be updated throughout the day.

    Full Release? So they skipped from alpha with seemingly random features to full release? This will end well.

    I haven't tried logging in since the beta but I imagine after the announcement that EQN was dead there was a mass exodus.

    A visually better version of Minecraft I guess. And resource hog like no other.

    They've actually added a lot of story telling tools in the last 4 months. It's still pretty much just a building game, but now building has some actual purpose. If you haven't checked it out in a while, it's worth a look.

    Oh yay! The prototype / toolset of a game which no longer exists is releasing! 

    This is like Bethesda releasing SnapMap after canceling DOOM.

    They're going to put it out there, wait three months then sunset it because nobody is playing it. Why? Because canceling it outright would piss off the people who paid for it, and might possibly be actionable because they never actually delivered the full product. It's the legal equivalent of a dog and pony show, nothing more. 

    "We released it as we promised (read: were legally obligated) to, but nobody played it. Sorry guys, you're out $25+, and there's not a single thing you can do about it."

    I'm just wondering what the next game this site will give 'best of show', without showing or telling any of its readers why, will be.

    Yeah it seems quite a few people paid $100 and tested the game for years, only to be left out in the cold on headstart day...Some of the problems people are having are equal parts sad and hilarious. Amateur hour is in full swing over at Daybreak.

    if a tree falls in EQN and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

    Was kind of thinking the same thing.  Development stops a year ago in early access Alpha, no updates at all, then a year later its suddenly labeled "done" and released.

    I don't see Daybreak sticking around much longer.  Most of their products are old and the new ones don't have much content to keep people interested.   

    I think everything is in maintenance mode, just trying to milk all their current playerbase as much as possible.

    I don't think EQN ever got far enough into development to have trees :tongue:

    This game was from the really early on it's own game. At first (like in the really beginning) it was supposed to be just a tool for EQN, but soon they decided that it should be standalone and they started to introduce sci-fi stuff etc.

    So people crying that this killed EQN or was in any way responsible for it are just delirious.
