    I stopped playing shortly after trying it at release and have never looked back. I found it terribly gamey - and not at all like the "online Sea Dogs" I hoped it would be.

    PotBS must surely be living proof that an MMO with almost no players and a tiny dev team can still make money !

    Probably not much money, but the servers are still running !

    I'd probably buy into naval action if I could afford but for now I am watching and waiting, at least potbs has wind, boarding, etc.

    Actually I am having a pretty killer time, forgot how much effort they spent crafting these zones/ships. I miss this kind of care in mmos.
