    I find the wording giant bug for a game too much of a set up for irony. I obviously hope for something good and polished, but it didnt stop them from shying away from using that. Looks like fun to me. Ill keep myself updated. Nice reveal.

    are the only games that interest me every thing else is complete trash hope they all do well

    They probably need a new revenue stream, they have the artwork/assets, and a team familiar with the IP so it makes sense to put resources into it.

    When I think of Conan, the first thing that comes to mind is smashing rocks and chopping down trees to build cities.

    In fact, crushing my enemies, driving them before me and hearing the lamentation of their women isn't anywhere near my thoughts.

    When AOC came ot, the graphics blew me away.

    Looking at the trailer now, i don't think they aged very well.

    They are created under the threat of the sword, not with it.  When I think of the heroes in the Conan canon, I rarely think of the slaves who built Conan's castle, but the guy sitting on the throne.

    I get it, they're trying to use the existing IP that they have and throw their hat into the survival game genre, but honestly, they have the wrong IP for it.  A Conan game should be more like a super gory Witcher 3 and less like ARK. But ARK is cheaper to make and Funcom is broke as shit, so it's no wonder that's what they're going for.

    It's a survival game in the same genre as ARK, Dayz, Rust, Don't Starve.... ect.  Being that it's a Conan title, if there's no PVP, then there's no game.  So expect PVP to be a primary pillar of the design.

    I like it's unforgiving hardcore gameplay aspect, but overall the game should try to offer more than what the many many survival games around already do. May be why they decided to delay it time ago to flesh out the game more due the criticism the trailers got.
