Until they name and shame, this is an absolutely pointless exercise as A] A lot of players don't believe what they say any more. B] It still looks like nothing is being done even if it is.
On top of that... C] It does nothing to fix the players that have already profited by cheating.

Think I'm just going to play the game and ignore the forums for awhile. Game is amazing. All this shit is just stupid and it's getting dumber by the day.
Why i appear and disappear from forums, and especially stay clear of official game forums.
Back when i played EQ2 and SWG exclusively for years i never used forums, back then i always thought they were used only for people with problems. (little did i know how correct i was) /little jab there lol
Seriously i did not go to forums (the game ran fine) and neither did the people i played everyday with for years ( that i ever was aware of). I guess late 2008/2009 when the game started to take on dramatic wow similarities, i started to go to these "forum" things and OMG the persistent, consistent unhappiness.
Turns out it wasn't something because of what was happening but... it's the way its always been.
Sometimes i wonder if those years i thoroughly enjoyed those two games like I've never enjoyed mmo's before was because my enjoyment wasn't steadily polluted by unhealthy minds during forum visits.

xpsync I feel the need to post here a sincere THANK YOU for your post. I am going to follow your advice and cut my forum partipation significantly . Back to enjoy my games without toxic influence !
The damage is already done regardless, they aren't going to ban every cheater, plenty will continue to slip through the cracks. Many of those will be individuals who have already gained top tier gear and mix/maxed to the point of no return.
