    Yea I dont know what to think of that, this is a whole new level for him.  I do see that hes sticking with his cybernetics theme.

    I don't hate Konami but I really wonder why they didn't give him more freedom in his decisions.

    Guess it's one of those behind the scenes things where we will never know what really happened.

    I think it boils down to money. If they could clone him, I'm sure they'd let him do whatever he wanted, but since they can't they probably wanted him working on proven franchises that will be guaranteed to make them money.

    He was, but I don't think that Silent Hill, as a series, sold that well. I mean compared to most horror games, sure, I'm sure it sold a half million copies, but it was not metal gear. Also, I believe that Konami had a change in their focus around the time that the two broke up. I think that Konami was looking to become more mobile-focused than high-end, long cycle games. So we may see a mobile metal gear game! Yay? 

    Honestly, I would much rather see Kojima on his own and doing creative stuff. Shoot, if he's hurting for funding, toss up a crowdfunding campaign, I'll throw him a couple bucks, lol.
