totally and completely not my kind of game.

I guess VR is hitting mainstream or at least appears to already.

Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.

I liked what they showed on farpoint, but I'm more interested in Batman Arkham VR.   As it seems PSVR might be the only VR worth buying anytime soon, it's nice to see so many interesting games launching on it.

I've already posted several times that in the short term Sony VR will outsell both the Vive and Rift nearly 10 to 1 based on analyst estimates that I argued with you over when you originally decided to ignore me.

Go back and read those links, or just go back to ignoring me, I'm starting to miss those days.

Oh don't get me wrong, currently it's pretty shameful.  I feel sorry for the sad sacks on the Rift,  but as with the articles I posted,  PSVR and Gear VR are VR's only chance,  we can only hope they're as popular as the analysts predict.  For your sake anyways.

ok I gotcha. Your stance on things is a little hard to figure out sometimes but I think I got it.

well I might suggest to you to maybe not call VR dead until the Sony VR has a chance to at least be widely aviable. sound fair enough?

I call it like I see it.  If someone were to say.. "What VR headset should I buy today"  what would most people answer?

I'd say "If you don't already own an s6, note 5, or S7, there is no VR headset out today you should spend your money on."

Anyone that disagrees with that is really biased towards VR.

But in october I'd say,  "If you already own a PS4 and have roughly 600 bucks to spend, PSVR has roughly 60 Launch Titles for VR that may be worth trying"

But under no circumstances would I ever want someone to waste money on a VR headset that has no support and unfortunately that's all that is out there today.

To be more succinct,  corded PC headsets in general are more along the lines of where I see VR and AR dying. That's why all AR sets planned to release thus far from Hololens to Magicleap are self contained systems.

well to be fair we are both off topic a bit but I want to be very crystal clear I dont give a shit who wins the VR war. I dont give a shit if Oculus is the one to loose and in fact I think its likely they ARE the one that will loose. so with that disclaimer out of the way let me say again and then not again at least in this thread

Maybe you should wait until the Sony VR is widely aviable before calling the VR industry dead.

Maybe you should wait until the PSVR system is widely available before calling the VR industry alive?

ah! and I am not. nor have I ever. that is where you are not paying attention.

The only thing i ever declare is that it appears that the industry is not in bad shape. That does NOT by default mean that they are in good shape. I have no idea either way. why? becuase I am waiting 12 months before declaring that.

I won't argue these points again in a different thread.  I think I'll hand this back to the topic.
