There are big ass changes incoming to TERA over the course of the second half of the year, at least judging by the latest developer post on the official site. Players are in for some surprises and interesting new content.

They really need to bring the older classes up to par with the newer ones. The power creep is real.

Is a man not entitled to the herp of his derp?

Remember, I live in a world where juggalos and yugioh players are real things.

"30-person raid dungeon with a BAM 10 times larger than anything you've seen before."

Holy cow man how big is that boss going to be? Because TERA has had some really massive bosses already so, this I really can't imagine. It's going to be the size of a small in game city, not even kidding.

Yeah this is true, they've been trying ideas to close this gap while still keeping BiS in game for those that want to progress for it. Hell even VM3 was easier to get than VM1 was back in the day. Don't think they'll ever do away with the gear grind as it's basically part of the game but I'll hand it to them they are making it easier for people to catch up and still be able to compete in PvE/PvP easier than before.

Haven't the devs learned by now that focusing on raiding content is bad for business in the west? It's either solo and casual content or pvp that attracts most players.

    Nope.

They even said that the next new class they have planned is going to be female too.

PS - All mammals have nipples.

    Get over it already.

I never get very far in this game each attempt.  I must buckle down and get higher level and try this when I can in the future.

Yeah, if they could remove or stop the "gender-locked classes".

Nice to see they decided to fix UI after ~4 years

One of the best mmos out.

I remember when people wrote it off years ago.

Many have fallen while TERA still remains strong.

Looks good. And the "gear grind" in Tera, although always part of the game, has been made easier, and in any case, is nothing compared for example to the hugely hyped BDO, where it is truly soul crushing (and moronic). It is a Korean game after all, but gear dependence is not that horrible (even with the meh +15s) and there is still space for skill, hopefully this will be improved with more class balance (again, direct comparison to said BDO above, which is nothing but top-gear-beats-anything ... and requires dedicated 24/7 no life gaming).

I liked the game when I played it years back but I wish they would expand the scope of content, it has amazing dungeons, graphics and combat but they offer very little variety.

It kind of amazes me this game is among the most profitable, they do almost nothing to cater to casual players.
