Ark: Survival Evolved is proving that bigger is, if not better, then at least scarier with the arrival of the Redwoods biome that not only brings in the gigantic trees of the same name, but also the Titanosaur. Players can literally build a mobile fortress on its back as it can carry structures, defenses and even other creatures as it rumbles through the landscape looking for veggies to nom.

They communicated the areas of the maps that would be effected weeks ago and there are way too many youtube videos out there that disprove your 10fps on a 980. You need to take a look at your ISP or your RAM before blaming these guys for your problems.
Still might buy this for the wife and i to play though.
My desktop is five years old, with an i5 2500k, 16 GB of RAM and I just recently put in a GTX 970. I reliably get 45-55 FPS on all high settings. Even on my LAPTOP, with an i5-5200U, 8GB RAM and a GeForce 940M I get a solid 30 FPS on all medium, with maybe an occasional high setting. No idea what the issue is that people with 980s get this supposed 10FPS.
This game is a builders and collectors wet dream, and it looks beautiful. Content is being added at a steady pace, and so are optimizations... even if people seem to miss them in the patch notes (I saw four lines in the patch notes yesterday dealing with optimization; people are idiots).
I very much recommend this game. You won't regret it.
