In nearly every instance, the moment they actually registered in the real that I was actually not only female, but not some ugly old sow, they completely lost their shit. Most of these guys had actually seen pictures of me beforehand. But somehow they just didn't have that circuit complete in their minds that someone as competant, competetive and outspoken as I am could possibly be appealing physically.
Really, I don't see what the big deal is. How we look doesn't determine how or what we play. It only has as much impact on who we actually are as we allow it to. So, from my perspective, it doesn't matter if the people I play with are hot guys, hot girls or some fat kid in their mom's basement. They all parse the same to me as long as they play well, don't make me want to e-slap them and don't ask me for hot e-lubbins.
So I have to come out and agree with what Ridenar here had to say about it.
