I am the absolute worse at speed things .If you ask me to hit something like the fishing game where you hit WASWDDSA  I am a goner.

So I throw the rope and I cannot hit the space bar to get it in the bar so I keep failing. I haven't even got to the part of rearing up so I give up. I give up I tell you then I discovered something my donkey is level 10 ,my Jezebel she always stands out as no one ever rides donkeys. I seem to be the one who stands out in the crowd of majestic horses.

The thing I found out is this compare the speed here.

With this speed

WHT1LowjpgMax speed tier 1 103-109

WHT2Lowjpg Max Speed tier 2 107- 112

So at level 15 my donkey will be going at 115 so should I even bother getting this tier 1 horse ? Or am I missing something ?

Alternatively if I need to buy the horse it is probably cheaper than me spending 45k on the ropes for like 30 tries. How much do tier 1 ones go for ?

Tier 1 are the worst you can get.

Buy a tier 3+ horse from the stable guy's marketplace. They aren't that expensive if you find level 1 ones.

That donkey is pretty fast lol.

But I don't think donkey's have a "second gear" like horses do (or with sprint, a third gear).  These gears like double their speed.

The horse rope game is the same as the fist game I think.  You just need to get it in the one area of the bar.  The rearing part is pretty easy after you get used to it.  But yeah you can get horses at the horse market at city stables if you can't catch one.

I got past the part where I had to land lasso then the mini game I kept hitting the space bar after the horse reared it would get to the end and then drop a lot down and I failed like ten times. I don't know how much more faster I needed to hit the space bar so many times it kept dropping after almost reaching the win part. I spent 45k enough I think I just am lousy at this. I cannot fathom how to hit the space bar but obviously it is pointless. So sad.

I buy the horse and breed it is it ? I have one tier 3 from the game I bought. So if I want one more I have to breed the tier 1 I buy with the tier 3  I guess.

That was it I did not move forward no wonder I lost I was so busy trying to hit the space bar I forgot to move forward but to be honest I think I cannot move the 'W' and hit the space bar also .I don't have a programmable keyboard ...  alright thank you.

The horse space bar game has defeated me ...I really feel like the old lady I am now. I will quietly go buy a horse.

Hmm, not quite sure what's going on with it.  You don't actually have to get it all the way to the win side, just towards it and keep it past the halfway mark until the time runs out.  Then walk towards the horse until it rears again, then repeat the game a couple more times.

The stables have a shop where they sell a tier 1 I think, but you can also access the horse market where people can put their horses up for sale.  You access it I think from "Stable" then "Horse Market".  There aren't too many for sale usually and they do cost millions, just so you know.

If you already have a tier 3 that's not too bad really.  I used the tier 3 I tamed for a really long time until I bought my tier 6 from the market.

You could buy a tier 1 and breed it with your tier 3, but the results are unpredictable.  There is a like 100 page thread on the forums about breeding.  Personally I would just get a horse your comfortable with and then buy a 6 or 7 later on.

Unless you really want to get into breeding, but you probably don't unless you can figure out what's up with why you can't capture one.

I have 4 alts so I like to have a mount in almost every stable which is easy with the donkey. I basically forget to use the mount and run everywhere. i just hit autorun and go do housework lol. So i thought I might put a horse in a few stables but never mind one is enough.

Yes I was hitting space bar when i had already won and I did not realise my mistake. I get it now but I am so disheartened I will wait awhile before I try it again.

All my alts are about 22 I get a lot of contribution points using 4 its easy to rack it up.I am at about 80 now.

I wish trading was possible too . I see the negatives now more clearly although it stops the gold trade sort of but it prevents other nice things.

Dont feel bad, it took me a bit to 'get' it.  What I usually do is hunt the horse around for a bit. Often it will get stuck on the environment so I can lasso it really close by and I don't have to do the minigame. After the lasso I wait for about 45 secs, while feeding it about 2 lumps of sugar before I try to ride it. They can still throw you off but the chances are pretty good that at that stage you can tame it.

    Good luck!

Just got the game so I cant comment on the horse thing, but if you dont have a programmable keyboard you can just download the Microsoft mouse and keyboard center (ms mouse/keyboard not required).  With that you can program macros and set them to a key or a mousekey.  Even does repeatable and timings.

And it's against the TOS. Don't get banned, I did it with my logitech mouse for most of the combat combos and never got busted but it's still a possibility.

you don't actually have to do the whole speed tapping thing anyway

just chase after the horse and sooner or later (more sooner than later) it will get hung up on a rock or tree or hillside - just walk up behind it, rope it and immediately start giving sugar lumps

done that with all the 100 or so horses I've tamed - can't do the speed tapping myself

IT worked.  The 45 sec advice was crucial.
