I like the game. Especially the 'world' which I think is the best of any game I have played. But the cheaters and hackers have made it a pointless exercise as honest players, or in my case those to lazy to cheat, are at a MASSIVE disadvantage at end-game. Daum have paid lip service to it, but their (& PA's) actions in that no real money has been invested in fixing it, speak louder. They don't care.
There are one or two other issues, the pointlessness of life skills/the fixation on grind, no auction house that help devalue it for me, but this is certainly a major issue as well.

Some early games have no choice to use cack like gameguard as hacking was barely understood, let alone an actual issue back when they were launched, but on modern games it's a pretty good sign of cheap/bad coding and that hacking/cheating is inevitable.

Until that is fixed (and whilst I hope differently, I am pretty sure it won't be as it's too embedded in the design), no point in playing.

BDO is inviting for hacks, same as it was with Archeage, ppl still play those games no matter what publisher and devs throw at them, they never learn.

BDO -Grindy, hackers everywhere, p2w heaven

Archeage -P2w every step of the way, hackers/botters shielded by Trion if they invest
