Having to pay real money to change your cosmetic armor dye. Guildwars 2 allows you to do this for free. I was looking at the different armor motifs in the crown store. They want 5000 crowns which equates to 39.99 where I am. What a f---king rip off.

The crown store is a rip off. Do people actually pay money to become a werewolf or vampire ? You can literally run there and get someone to do it for free. Its just a question of being able to do the quest. Does this crown store purchase make you a full vamp/ww or do you still have to do the quest ?

The most expensive armour motifs can take weeks or more to collect in game hence the cost in the crown store.
As far as I know the vamp/ww crown store items only give you the bite as it were, you still have to do the quest and level the skill line.
I'm happy with the changes that this update brings tbh, although I'd like to see more meaningful story driven content that lasts longer than a couple of weeks.
Also I know there are a lot of players that want significantly more end game content.

The biggest complaint I have is the lack of content in these new episodes they are releasing, Two dungeons is just not enough to keep people playing, and even if the metrics show people come and go, I doubt 2 dungeons will bring many people back that has left for more content in another game.

The new features are nice, but features are not content.
I am gald ZOS is keeping p2w out of the store.

Housing still available only from the cash shop? Then I don't give two craps about the rest of it.

    Wtf are you on about?

Because he might actually have to pay to enjoy something from the game :o

I paid for that Thieves Guild crap. They owe me.

It sucks having to put up with this type of attitude. I used to make fun of people who only feel obliged to play F2P games because they can't go without their weekly Cheeseburger... but really, what are you thinking ? Even one of the hardcore ESO players who collects all pets, costumes and mounts will be barely paying 1 weeks wages of a Bethesda staff member after 2 or more years of playing. If you become an artist and sell your work for 5 cents I'm going to laugh at you. You are owed nothing for buying Thieves Guild DLC, I wish ZoS could say they are grateful for your payment, but with all the F2P garbage I don't see how they can be so grateful wholeheartedly. It's such a shame the Gaming Industry pays all this money up front to release it to the public then they are criticized for falling short in one or 2 areas where the playing field is open ended. In the 80's we all put 20 cent and 1 dollar coins into arcade machines... nobody complained. Next I'm going to hear how ZoS sap your electricity supply.

Buying WW or Vampy bite is for convenience. Just as it should be.

Crown store is the best of its kind. They have a nice selection of convenience and cosmetic items.

Purchased game just days ago and I'm happy with. Only reason I did not play was game (according to forums) impossible to play without WASD or joystick. Have discovered this is completely false and I have set my left mouse button to move avatar and key 5 to primary spell. Enjoying for now base game, then will see. Only complain I have I would love to have more classes.

The base game is huge so it will be many weeks before you "have" to think about any DLC.

As far as classes go there may only be four classes but huge amount of variety. A "class" simply gives you 3 active skills lines and some passives. And you don't have to use your class actives since there are many other skill lines. Mix and match as you feel fit, change as often as you want. Add in that there are no weapon or armour restrictions and your choice is very broad. At least it ultimately becomes very broad as most skills and skill lines have to be unlocked, selected and then developed.
