Seriously though, this is as much a 'game' as it already was to walk down a street and tap a phone, something we've all been doing for years already. Tapping faster doesn't make it any more skillful or challenging.
On the flipside maybe there are plenty of people out there that enjoy the game! Lots of mobile games get boring really fast in my opinion. But lots of irl things are even more boring, hence why people opt into playing a mindless mobile game to pass the time. This one has a really big social aspect and will only get more updates & changes overtime. I'm not a big fan myself but I know people that like it and I'm mature enough to understand that. I mean who cares really. Lots of things that I don't like happen to be liked by others and it's none of my business telling them it sucks just because I think so.
To be fair, everyone is screwed when Skynet goes live anyways. So I think we should let the poke-nerds enjoy the spotlight for a little bit, since the detractors annoy me more than articles about the game does.
