imageLiving World Season 3 Coming July 26th

ArenaNet has revealed the first details about the Guild Wars 2 Living Season 3 update that is slated for release on July 26th. Players will be able to pick up the story from the point where Heart of Thorns ended. Players will need to own Heart of Thorns and have a level 80 character to complete it. Once HoT is finished, the new episodes are unlocked and become playable.

    I assume we get HoT for free when expansion 2 will be released. So I will wait for that.

    Nasa - If you don't log in "...between the episode’s initial release and the release of the next episode..." you will have to pay for it after the next expansion is released. Just like the original game when it went free-to-play the HoT personal story is part of the game, but Living World updates are not. If you miss getting them right after they are available you will have to pay for them.
