With this week’s major update to World of Warcraft in preparation for the Legion expansion coming on August 30th, a lot of new systems went into place. Every player class and specialization received an update in both skills and talents. The bottom line is that if people think they’re going to breeze in on Legion launch day without attending to several things, it’s more than slightly likely that somewhere, somehow they will hear “YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!”

If I want safe Pve for story I have dozens of single player rpgs/jrpgs/dungeon crawlers I enjoy. If I want safe instanced pvp, I have dozens of competitive online games from shooters to mobas.
Still though I don't see myself staying very long and I'm still unconvinced that I'll even buy Legion. I'm still teetering on the edge of not going back even after interest being peeked.
The gameplay and graphics still keep pulling me away too much.
Proceed to post in every WoW thread about how they don't like WoW.

3. The Garrison I put all that time into, soon to be meaningless. CHECK

Clearly this article is not for you then right?
Thanks for the info, no one cares.
I main a fury warrior, I don't feel they were nerfed this patch. Rampage seems way better than wild strike procs and its easier to get the crits you need with Battle Cry. What exactly was nerfed? Because I have been really liking the new mechanics and talent tree. Feels more natural in the rotation, I am super comfortable with it. In fact, Whirlwind's Meat Cleaver procs on both Bloodthrist and Rampage, rather than just Raging Blow. Isn't that a buff to AOE, especially when you can talent into Wrecking Ball, which increases Whirlwind damage by 300%?
Now we just need to cap Crit and Haste on Fury, then stack Mastery and Versatility. I don't feel that Multistrike was really that big a deal to the spec tbh.
Also, didn't farms and stuff in Pandaria become irrelevant after WoD. I think that's just the way it goes with new expansions is it not? Besides, I thought most people didn't like Garrisons, and are happy to be rid of it. I personally liked the Garrisons for convenience, but I am not sad to see them go by the wayside.
Enjoying marksman the most so far. Demo lock is a bit clunky but kinda fun. Still adapting to all the other class changes. Thankfully we have Loads of time to adjust.
Really a pain now to hide a helm if you want, have to find a transmuter. Has to be the dumbest change of them all, it was far easier on the options menu. Never bothered with the transmuters before, thought it was a waste of time.
Funny thing now, Tanaan is rocking. People are stumbling all over themselves there. All that gear will be replaced in a little over a month. All those flying mounts will be back in mothballs for a while too.
Also if anyone has noted such, the garrison missions generate very little gold anymore so if you are just back to the game and broke, you have your work cut out for you. They also made the salvage yard pretty useless too.
1) Uninstall WoW.
2) Scratch rear end.
3) Eat food.
4) Get a good night's rest.
5) Profit.
I started playing mid way through TBC and picked up each xpac along the way. Never was hard core into it, but played through and always found enjoyment.
The new class changes are great. At least from what I have experienced on my main characters. Shaman, Warrior, Hunter. The synergy and rotation between skills feels great and energetic. I have not tried much pvp with them since the changes.
This article is a great heads up for anyone interested in joining in for Legion. There are a lot of changes made.
