imagePre-Beta Ends, Servers Down to Upgrade to Closed Beta

Artix Entertainment has announced that the pre-beta of Adventure Quest 3D has officially ended and that servers have been taken down to upgrade the game client to the official closed beta version. As the downtime goes on, a "play-by-play" event will be taking place on the official site in which players will be informed about the upgrade progress.

    Pre-Beta is called Alpha.........standardization is your friend.

    with so many 'pre-alphas' and now 'pre-betas' i guess we're going to need some more terminology, we might even end up with having development stages looking like this;
    Pre-Alpha
    Alpha

    Closed Beta
    Open Beta
    Post-Beta
    Pre-Release
    Early Access
    Release!!!

    actually you can pretty much put in Early Access anywhere in the development cycle, for a suitable fee of course  :p
