After getting a few teases about it on last month's KI Live, Wizard101's summer update is finally ready to be tested by players in the test realm. The test servers first opened up last Wednesday and players flooded it to see just what all the hype was about. Although the summer update didn't give access to any new locations, it did polish things up nicely and fulfilled some longtime player wishes.

The biggest issue for me remains. Its impossible to solo certain things required to move on. The reason I left this game was because I waited and waited for people on dungeons requiring people to move on. The population in this game is not strong enough to warrant requirements for other players. Waiting to move on sucked the life out of my experience. People were willing to help sometimes but I waited for weeks to finish both Celestia and the last part of Grizzleheim. Until this is addressed, I won't consider coming back to the game.

I like the new changes, but I have to agree with the above post. I hear this more and more from people who have played this game recently over the past year or two. I think something needs to be done and I believe SWTOR put in a good solution. You can solo dungeons relevant to the story. Kingisle should look at this format as a solution or find other ways which don't limit or cripple players who wish to continue their experience in game.

Some nice new changes, but I feel too small changes.

KingsIsle either needs to do something much larger to keep this game popular, or perhaps it would be good time for Wizard 102.

Stories like yours is why I stopped playing the game at the beginning. I wasn't willing to work to get to that point only to be unable to continue. Read that a lot on the forums.

I do like the lvl 50 boost as repeating the same content can generate a lack of fun.

When was the last time you played? KingsIsle added a "Team-Up!" feature in 2014 which searches for other players who need help on the same dungeon you do. It's been very popular and I haven't heard a lot of complaints about this problem since then.
In addition to Team-Up, there are helping groups established on Wizard101 Central to help remedy the issue that you're describing.

I personally didn't have any difficulties soloing most of the mainline content, but I can see why people might get frustrated. At the same time, help is out there if you go and look for it. KingsIsle made that even easier with Team-Up.

I have read many comments from as recent as last week on their forums of this problem. The team up does not solve the problem because it still has find people which it doesn't all the time. Next some people stay for one or two fights then leave. Too many people are saying the same thing for this to be a minor issue. Its all over the forums.
