Help me find a casual game to play!

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but oh well. Preferably, I want to find a casual mmorpg. I've played many games in the past: GW2, Tera, TSW, BDO, Maplestory, Runescape, Trove, PoE, Marvel Heroes, Silkroad, Aura Kingdom, Grand Fantasia, and Elsword to name a few. Twelve Sky 2 and Path of Exile are the only two games I've played for a long time (PoE still playing). I really enjoyed my time when I played Silkroad, however it was just infested with bots and was such a grind to level last time I played.

I guess what I'm asking for is a game where I don't have to feel the need to rush end game or get the best gear and what not. I just want to enjoy the game as I progress through it while being engaged. I also prefer games that aren't p2w, as that usually makes me want to play it less. Subscription based games I prefer to avoid as well, as I don't have much cash.

I also enjoy a game when there are a lot of players. Or at least a lot of players in the main city/place. I like it when a game feels lively and populated. I was thinking of wildstar, but I'm not too sure. Maybe what I need is to take a break from mmorpgs, but I've been so accustomed to playing mmorpgs that it would feel weird to stop. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I don't know why you think the game itself is what makes you feel you should rush. I don't know of many games that force you to feel like that.

    It's all about perspective, really.

Neverwinter is "ok-ish" for a very casual experience. It's easy and it's free. Like 99% of all MMOs, you WILL need to work at progression when you reach max level and exhaust content, because that's how developers extend playtime when there's no content left.

WoW is king of the themepark genre, obviously, but it's subscription based. You could play the first 20 levels for free and decide if it's worth your investment. It's also possible to "grind gold" for play tokens - if you can't afford paying for it.

Maybe Lord of the rings online
They have nice invention, called "Stone of Tortoise". You equip it and experrience flow - stops. I have equipped it and my toon is lvl.95 for a very long time.
Lotro has story, known to many of us. Heroes most are accustomed to (Gandalf, Frodo, Aragorn, Sauron). There are NPCs you could feel sorrow for or immerse in their stories.
End level is pure grind, but that's what end lvl is.
It was only at my third toon that I understood: do not rush through stories. Epic first, because only then you could experience full story of Middle Earth.

Guild wars 2: was about to reccomend, but you have played it. Nice personal story and really cool graphic though.

Well, BDO maybe? It is pretty good but a bit too Korean if you don't enjoy that type of gameplay (if you did like TERA when you played it you should go for it).

Rifts is pretty good but the population might be a bit lower then what you want and the same goes for LOTRO (both are far from dead but neither is overfull with players either).

Black desert online seems what you want, that game is all about the leveling journey.

EQ2, Lotro and Wildstar are all great option.  I play casually and cover a few of these on my yt channel and have to say EQ2 never stops fulfilling my casual itch.

WoW is conspicuously absent from your list.

EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests
