Although, eating habits in the Bible are mainly to protect us, for example the pig meat thing.
But in general god is against eating meat, after Noah's flood, meat was allowed to be consumed, but there were strict rules that followed up, mainly to protect the land and animals, let the slaughter animal have babies... Reach a certain age, if it got sick or hurt during its life time you cannot eat it, and lastly you must rais it yourself.
Today human beings abuse animals in the most evil way, and that is a great sin.
Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.
