the game mechanics that define the MMORPG genre, then why are you
playing an MMORPG?"
Sadly he has said he's not going to share it with anyone.
Bit of a dick move really.
He's probably not going to tell anyone because there are still other players who are playing who might want to find out from playing the game and not on some forum.

Honestly, I'd watch how he acts after he's open the door or said he's opened, then people can gauge if its good or not if his behaviors change. He's happy as fk, I'd honestly start playing the game cause it means money is involved.

I can think of one really simple step to take in order to avoid finding out.
Other than that, it's kind of a dick move to be a streamer and then not show anyone or open the door if anyone is around. Just for that, I'd leave an account streaming next to the door 24/7 just so he he'd never open it. But then again, I'm an EVE player, so I'm used to camping things 24/7 just so people can't use them. kekeke! *Twists Mustache*
I bet you they have been scrambling to figure something out. They've gotta make sure that it's something that will make ppl happy but probably never gave it thought until now.

Lifetime supply of Hot Pockets.
What gamer can't use those.
I had one of those for the first time a few years ago. Yuck. Pop-tarts taste better than those.

I remember an alcove with a chest you could only jump to in a low level dungeon in Asheron's Call. The problem was that you could only jump that high if really high level or specialized in jump (outside of a pvp trick for jumping).
A buddy and I returned many, many levels later and he managed to jump due to his main stat being Strength (which jump skill was based upon). Turned out the chest sucked but we had this on our minds for months. Old school rpgs on both console and pc had many of these awesome little unknowns but modern games all but abandoned them due to their near complete lack of imagination.
It's the world reset control panel. If he activates it, he gets to alter a few parameters, the maps, etc, and then the world resets and everybody has to reincarnate their characters as level 1 noobs with starter junk.

Also, you are a bad person. I never heard about this game until today, now I want to know what's behind that door.
Worse: everyone is now level 1

I applaud his decision to not tell people.
