Just curious if anyone knows of any MMOs that have good pvp and either have no DoTs (Damage over Time), or very little DoTs where they are only used as a small, supplemental addition to damage?
I have played a few MMOs in my time, WoW, WaR, SWToR, BDO, and my main mmo GW2 (have played since it released). My main focus is pvp, and I have loved everything about GW2 except ANet's focus on adding more and more conditions (DoTs), and buffing them over and over. With it so easy to apply conditions and run a tanky build, and kite, it ruins any type of skilled play. So, it is time to jump ship and look elsewhere.

Cant do Runescape, looking for more action oriented combat vs click and wait.
I was searching online last night and found a year old post of someone saying that the DoTs in ESO are not really strong and are just small extra damage. Does anyone know if this was or is true? If it is still true, I may check ESO out.
Persistent RTS where the only way to control your units is programming them. Open world PvPer, with some sanity checks(With game mechanics like time/distance, gathering/storage limits, instead of hard ones), really good customization, and enough complexity that it's hard to make a dominant strategy.
Practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes permanent.

I didn't buy HoT so I can't run the OP specs, but this core build is pretty funny against less knowledgeable players. I am hopeless at pvp in ESO though, just can't get the hang of it. I think I have only ever beaten about 4 players 1vs1, but nevertheless it is still a lot of fun- totally different feel to GW2.
He recorded it, and looked back at it,m, and it was within 7 seconds that this happened. GW2 suffers from serious condition bloat.
in addition to the horrible conditions, there are builds like an unkillable druid build i know of, and it even does burst damage with the smokescale pet, just stupid thing like this plague this once wonderful game.
