"Murray reports that less than 1% of players are submitting support issues"

Just want to say in our FB group there are 50 of us, the majority have NMS on PC, no one has had any issues. The people without issues enjoying the game are doing just that. Enjoying the game and not complaining online. While a vocal minority with issues is very strident, potentially rightfully so, online. This is completely anecdotal evidence but it's been my experience so far.

Its because anyone that preordered NMS despite all common logic clearly pointing its just a pipe dream, are obviously dummies. And they probably dont know how to make support ticket.

It's not any surprise that only a small minority reports issues of the total sphere of the players facing the issues. At least things are rolling in too get some fixes going

It's a pretty accurate figure in every game though.

It's the same in closed and open beta's, where the vast majority just used it to get early Access and play the game early and could care less about writing bug reports and/or reporting issues.

People rather rage on Public forums instead. Meta critic and Steam forums being a prime example in this case.

Just read a lot of the discussions on the Steam forums. Most of these People just fired up the game, experienced crappy performance. Logged off. Went to steam page for refund and Write a rage post.
Most of them didn't even know where the Graphic Settings were and hadn't even tried adjustinng these settings! /Facepalm
You should read some of the discussion on steam, it's hilarious (and sad in same time).

Now I am not saying there aren't issues, as they sure were. Especially for People with certain hardware, like AMD Phenom CPU.
But a vast majority of the rage and complaints are from people that shouldn't be playing PC games at all and just play it on console, where you don't have to bother keeping a "clean", "updated" PC, "updated" GFX drivers and "tweak" graphic settings to tune it to your hardware specs.

If that was true the game would have had a 99% positive score on steam. And not 56%

There is also the number of Twitch streamers who demonstrated the game had problems, plus youtubers of course, that there were some very obvious problems with the game is pretty hard to ignore, and given that Sean Murrays reputation currently isn't that good, i doubt many are really all that willing to take him at his word about the whole 1% thing either.

    GOG isn't patching anything.

Anyone with the GOG version can verify this ?

People submitting bug reports and how well the game is being received are not the same thing.

He isn't saying that 1% of players aren't enjoying the game, simply stating that only 1% of them are actually submitting bug reports to the developpers.
